I am an economist, researcher and educator specializing in cultural economics and creative economy. My background is economics (Bachelor Degree - University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics and Business), fiscal and financial management in culture (Master of Science Degree - University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics and Business) and cultural economics and policy (Doctoral Science Degree - University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics and Business). Since 2024, I have held the position of Senior Research Associate (Granted by the Institute of Economic Science).
My teaching experience spans almost two decades across several leading Serbian universities. From 2006 to 2021, I lectured at the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Management, University of Arts in Belgrade (MA course: Marketing and Economy in Culture) and Higher School of Professional Business Studies, Novi Sad. Between 2020 and 2024, I taught at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade (MA course: Creative Entrepreneurship and Development of Innovative Products). From 2022 to 2025. I taught at the Faculty of Management, Metropolitan University in Belgrade, across undergraduate (Financial Management, Managerial Accounting, Microeconomics, Business with Financial Accounting), master’s (Financing Entrepreneurial Ventures), and doctoral (Creative Economy) programs. I have served as a reviewer for both domestic and international peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to my academic work, I hold certification as a court expert in finance and business economics (since 2011). From 2022 to 2025, I served as an accredited reviewer for the National Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education, focusing on programs in economics, the creative economy, and the creative industries. Since 2021, I have been an accredited lecturer at the National Academy for Public Administration, delivering professional development programs in local government planning, cultural and creative industries, and institutional development of cultural organizations at local level.
I have worked in the field of cultural economics and finance, with experience at the Ministry of Culture, the Swiss Cultural Programme, the Creative Economy Group, and the Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
